I have a tendency to over-squonk and so far the 2014 Cyclone is a lot more forgiving for that than the RM2. That might be part of the leak problem.

I have one on a regular Grand. There's some leaking from the cap/base, which would probably be a mess on an LP.

I take excellent care of my REOs, but when I did the upgrade on the one I had for 3 years, the insulator was a gunky destroyed mess and I ended up digging it out (big mistake). It took a week-long vacation.

You can try different things like lifting the coil up a little bit if you feel like you're not getting enough air. I think the main problem when first using an RM2 is flooding and then if feels like you're not getting enough air. Once you get used to the REO and squonking, you will get a rhythm...

I am still using 12 mg. My coil on a RM2 is 30g 2.0 ohm. I tried lower nic, I tried lower ohm - I think it's all about what works for you. I am certain than 3 years of vaping on a REO with 2.0 cartos and 12 mg became another habit for me.
