I'm in the black now...! :)

It's been a while since I posted here. Gosh, maybe 3 months or so since my last post? Lots of new people, I see... which means more and more new people are now being converted to e-cig. Good for them! :) To be honest, and with all due respect to the fine folks that I had chance to talk on...

Facts regarding the FDA Press Release - 7/22 (repost)

Jeez, this whole timing of e-cig bashing from antis, Waxman Bill, and now this lab result is forming a perfect storm. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but it certainly is rather fishy. Anyhow, I was rather surprised to see any carcinogens in e-liquid. It was exactly the reason I went for...

How long has your atty lasted?

    Longest one - 2months + 1 week. (rn4075) Shortest - 5 days. (dse901) My current one is now nearing 3 weeks. (dse901)

    noticeable loss of taste...

Well, try blowing out all the excess liquid from your atomizer. You'll be surprised how much liquid is actually there. Since I drip only, I blow-out the atty once every day. It helps retaining the flavor. I don't do any other type of maintaining - like boiling and draining stuff etc.

Which is better? The GG or Prodigy?

Well, I suggest you to get either one. Both should be good. I was almost excactly like in your position. I was carrying 3 different e-cigs, 3 different chargers, 3 different pts, several attys etc etc. It took a couple of hours at night to maintain them. Now, I moved to SD. Originally...

    What's your daily set up?

1 SD with whatever battery I had put in on previous night. 1 6ml juice bottle 1 extra atty 1 extra batt SD unit itself and juice bottle, I carry in my pocket. atty and batt, is in 2x CR123 carrying plastic case (about half the size of regular cel phone). I used to carry 3 different full sets...

    How long does 10ml last?

Well, it works on my end. I get more satisfaction on higher nic juice... so I tend to vape less. I vape way more when I am on low nic, seeking that non-existing throat hit. ;) But you should also consider that when novelty period is over (on the whole new e-cig excitement), things will...

    How long does 10ml last?

I use 6ml bottle, filled up to the near top... not sure how much exactly, but I normally can go for about a 5 days, if not more. :) I think it also depends on your e-cig model and how much it vaporizes per puff. hot ones like 510 or mods or manuals - you are bound to use more liquids.

    Trogs SCREWDRIVER REVIEW by Kit

I see. Thanks for your info. Well, I did measure some of my carts (various and same models) - and for some strange reason, some of them are taller, some of them seem to be shorter etc. What's even crazier is that some of them are actually for the same cart model - like single flat hole model...

    510 - All The Rave?

Well, that's compared to 901s... ;) 510 carts are bigger, but you should also think that 510 attys are rather juice hungry. More vapor = more juice used = more frequent top-offs.

One Week with the Janty Stick

Attys are crab shoot. Get a good one, it will last months... get a bad one, it goes bad in a day. I have one 901 atty that's over 2+ months, still running great. On the other hand, one atty died in few days. Best idea is to have at least one spare atty at all time.

    Screwdriver review - 901

Ooh... red and black. Nice choice. :)

What would you tell your best friend to buy?

probably will tell him to order at Ruyan Direct 510... and add whole bunch of attys for me too, and share shipping. ;)

    Does Prodigy work with 2x 3.7 CR123...?

Yikes. ;) I guess I won't find out until I try myself for sure, or someone else does. Thanks for your info, and I'll be watching out for your comparison review!

    MY Comparative review/ LV'S/SD/JANTY STIC/GG/PRODIGY

But if you have SD, your 3.7v x2 should work as well... at least that's the idea. I asked that question in PS forum, and according to Steve's battery test with a couple of hyped up 3.0v which was shooting out 8v, he said the output voltage is within the limits.

    Does Prodigy work with 2x 3.7 CR123...?

Thanks, StartOvation...! So as far as I understand I can use 2x3.7, it will still fall in the sweet spot around 5v with resistor. Easy way of determining might be just test out w/o atty but with voltage meter... but alas, I don't have such tool handy. :) Seems like Walrus is also in same...

    MY Comparative review/ LV'S/SD/JANTY STIC/GG/PRODIGY

Wouldn't this work...? It doesn't say "rechargeable" though - but the review says it's rechargeable one. ;) DealExtreme: $4.15 LC 17335 3V 1000mAh CR123A Battery 2-Pack and as per charger... DealExtreme: $5.42 Nano Li-ion Single 3.0V CR123A Charger x2 of course, for 2 batts. Then again, PS...

    Does Prodigy work with 2x 3.7 CR123...?

First of all, I'd like to congratulate Steve and co @ Puresmoker for excellent product! I'm a possisible Prodigy V1 buyer, with a simple question. Would Prodigy work with 2x 3.7 CR123? Reason being is, that I already have slew of 3.7v CR123s for my SD. 7 of them, to be exact. I also have 3...

    510 - All The Rave?

Well, I'm an SD user. SD is exceptionally good. I can't say much about Prodigy, GG, LV nor any other mods (Janty Stick) as I haven't tried it. But if you are going to take a mod road like I did... you'll be trading that sleek cig-looking device for something that looks like a pipe bomb...

    510 - All The Rave?

In a nut shell, I'd say get it, if you can afford extra 40-50 dollars for a starter kit. :) Ruyan Direct sells it for 34 dollars + shipping. Widow sells about 50, shipped. Since you already have a 901 set, PCC and USB PT can wait a little bit, till at least you'd like invest in them!
