A bit of help to an e-pipe newb

I'll second the recommendation of the Kamry K-1000. I am not a fan of tanks since I like thick juices, but use it exclusively with a Boge 2.0 ohm carto and standard short drip tip. As an added bonus of carto use, without the tank and long stem that were included in the kit, the flat bottom of...

    Pipe tobacco flavor.

The closest I've found to pipe tobacco flavor is Want2Vape's signature blends, especially London. It is very strong, and in the 36mg strength doesn't even require inhalation to get a realistic experience.

Would love to find this in real wood! Who is your local dealer?

Pipe smoker looking to try vaping

If you like English-style pipe tobaccos (i.e. non-aromatics) the closest you will get to an authentic pipe experience is one of the signature blends by Want2Vape. These are far and away the best tobacco vapes I have tried in my several years of vaping after giving up cigars. My favorite is...

Analog free for a week, after 17 years!!!

Stick with it and you won't go back. It's all about finding the right juice and keeping your atomizer or cartomizer fresh. Even if you go through a carto a day you are way ahead financially compared to what you would spend on tobacco products. My first e-cig was an abomination from a mall...

Can you bring an Ecig on an airplane?

I have not had a problem on domestic and European flights. I keep everything but juice (which goes in the required baggy with other liquids) in an eGo case and put it in the tray with my phone, e-book, etc. It is my understanding that this is the preferred method, since they don't want...

    AnyVape CVI

I've been using one for about a week and it works pretty well. The menu system is a bit wonky, but once you figure it out sort of makes sense. I've found that some Smoktech DCT cartos won't work; I think the threads on the device are located a bit deeper down the socket of the device. No...

    Frustrated Newbie: Please Help

Assuming you already have eGo batteries, I'd also recommend either the Smoktech 1.7 ohm cartos or the Boge 2.0 ohm cartos mentioned above. Both are available at a good price and free shipping from Crystal Clear Vaping, or from many other vendors. If using with an eGo threaded battery, I have...

What are you vaping RIGHT NOW?

Vaperite's RY4. It is almost as tasty as their VR4, and at $25 for 60 ml it's one of the best bargains out there.

    ego c is it better???

I had an eGo T and it didn't work very well for me with heavily VG juices. The eGo C is really the same thing, but with cheaper atomizer replacement. If you had problems with the T you'll have them with the C. If not, you should be happy with it. The C Twist battery is very nice, but quite a...

The Carto Assassin - Dark juices killing cartos

If you've found a juice you like, you may have to live with changing out cartos daily. I do. At maybe $1.35 apiece (standard size Boges from CCV, free postage), you're still way ahead of what the tobacco habit was probably costing you.

    Vision Stardust/ego

I love the idea of the clearomizer, and being naturally optimistic I've tried about everything that's come out. But there's always a compromise -- my favorite juices are too thick and need to be thinned, vapor production is anemic, you need to hold your device horizontally to vape, etc. At...

    VG: What's the point?

PG can be more irritating to the throat than VG. I have been using 50/50 mixes and like that combination a lot. It's very hard to generalize, because there are some VG juices that have very good TH as well as clouds of vapor, and some PGs that taste anemic.

    Just bought my first E-Cig

Backwoods Brew makes a menthol tobacco flavor that many think is very close to an analog. But as TravTech says above, after a short while you don't really care about trying to match what you smoked and can move on to other flavors. As you will see from reading reviews and comments on ECF...

Travel and Vaping Any Recommendations for French e-Liquids?

I'll be spending some time in France this summer and am looking forward to trying some French-made juices. If they can do with e-liquid what they can do with wine and food....;) Does anyone have any recommendations for French liquids, and, if possible, information about where they might be...

    I have another stupid question!!

If it's a Lavatube or clone, start out at 3.0 volts and work your way up until you find the sweet spot for your atty/carto and juice. eGos are about 3.3 volts, so you can use that for a benchmark. Instructions for using the Lavatube are available on multiple web sites of vendors who sell them...

    Hi! Newbie vapor reporting in!

Welcome and good luck! When you're through with the starter kit, ECF is the right place to be for good advice (sometimes too much) about where to go next.

    First Exposure to E-cigarettes

My first e-cig was an 808 with pre-filled cartos, and it was an awful experience. But I wanted to give vaping another shot, started googling the topic, found ECF, and quickly got some good advice about the right devices and juices that has led me to vaping satisfaction, although at a good bit...

Why does juice change colors in tank?

Some juices start out the color of fresh motor oil and end up looking like what you drain from the engine after 5,000 miles. I notice a change of taste as well, but the same goes with a regular carto where you can't witness the color change.
