Thanks Breaktru! I read the whole data sheet and did see that about no load. Probablly my problem was intial hookup to the breadboard, I had a ground on the prositive side when powered up. But I continued with my playing around. I will just buy a couple more of the converters and try again. I...

Yeah I tried that also using 15k. From 3 to 4 pin and 4.7 to pot going to gnd. Using same cartos with same results. Go figure, must be bad converter?

Same problem, gained .1v using the same cartos.

The same for in and out. Give me a couple of minutes change the out and I will get back.

I have been working with this setup today. If I try to use any carto below 3.2 metered, the 04050 will not put out above 3.3v. If I put in a 3.2ohm carto it works as it should. The pot is a 100k with 100uf caps, no resisters. Pictures below... I have tried many different carto's and as long...

The madvapes wall wort works but the overload or heat protection trips after a few minutes. I was using a 3 ohm carto. If you vape and give it time to rest it does fine. FWIW....

I got three more coming. I plan on taking off the pot and see if I can resolder one that is remote. The pots on there is a 10k bourns 3296 103 w 3/8". It looks like they only use two leads but will find out once I get it off. Here's the link if you want to read the specs...

I just did the same thing. With the regulators negative side to me. I turned until it stopped at input volts, I kept turning for 10 turns. Then went back 10 turns and it started again to reduce output voltage. Clockwise for increase in volts. I would turn ccw till to reads.

I just did the same thing. Clock wise for volts up negative side of regulator pointing to me. Went up pass max input volts over ten turns. It took the same turns to get it back down to adjusting volts again. So if your 30 over you might have to turn it down 30 to get it to adjust again.
