I have literally broken 4 different bumpers and they're hard to get here in the US, so both of my Guppies have been bumper less for over two months now.
I don't want to baby my EDC, though. I buy what I like and want to use. I don't want to hafta leave it at home because I'm afraid of dinging...
Okay, so I love my Guppies. They're the only mods I still have left after a few years of trying all sorts of high-end stuff.
However, this is how a brass guppy looks after being dropped just two times:
I wish it hadn't happened, and I have no idea how to fix it. :(
Okay, so because you asked about this yesterday I went ahead and dropped it tonight. On the asphalt of my driveway. And then I kicked it under the car--for good measure.
Sheesh
Love this thing, though.
The battery cap was a LITTLE tight when I tried it out. The good thing, though, is...
The BR-EM is holding up beautifully. I don't baby my gear. Matter of fact, my Guppies ride in my pockets with keys, pens, etc, and that pic above is from today, after rocking it for a month or so. No polish, no aftercare. Just straight up.
On another note. I HAVE dropped my stainless a couple...
Oh, I've had a brass king for a while. I was actually asking about the gold diver tube inside the brass guppy. I have a brass guppy/bayou combo coming to me soon--as well as a custom brass drip tip--and am deciding whether or not to go with the gold diver tube.
