If you don't want to pull the tank, try this: Squirt a ml or 2 of PGA in the tank and shake it and swirl it around. Dump it and repeat a couple of times. Now put a little straight PG or even some (hopefully mildly flavored) juice you don't like, invert it a bit to get the wick saturated...
