Wasn't the older version of the battery tube made of brass? If so, stainless is lighter than brass.

From what I gathered researching before purchase is that they switched to zinc due to it being more accurate with molding. Sharper lines and in general less imperfections than can be achieved with aluminum castings. I read somewhere also that zinc is cheap, but prices are 1¢ off from aluminum...

Got the ML in last night. Thing is heavier than I thought it'd be. I taste a lot of airy metallic something or other off the bellus with dual Ti coils, so I'll visit that more later. Subtank mini tastes clean with a Ti build, and temp control seems very accurate. Love the build quality...

Thanks for the info! A dual coil build in a UD Bellus totaling .4 ohm with only a 2500 mah battery in a mech or at 30 watts gets me by easily for a day. Sounds like the ML may just be my next toy then with that usage:) Luckily too because my iStick 40tc just acted up and is giving off...

I've had this too, but only with metal tips. I use acrylic and it doesn't happen unless I use chapstick. Plus, metal seems to "dry out" the vape a bit for me. Much more warm and full feeling with an acrylic tip. My 2 cents.
