Travel and Vaping Vaping at the Mouse Trap?

Vaped at Disney World with no problems in February, but I have heard some castmembers have started shooing vapers to smoking areas. I do know Disneyland and California Adventure are vape-friendly (I'm at both a few times a month), with the exception of the Trader Sam's bar at the Disneyland...

    Disneyland & Disney World

I was at Disney World in February and had nary a problem with vaping, although I did not vape indoors. I've since heard that some employees there are starting to shoo vapers to smoking areas. This is unconfirmed, but worrisome. I'm at Disneyland a few times a month, though (I'm a...

California -- SB 648 would ban the use of e-cigarettes wherever smoking is banned

A point to consider: with the passing of this bill, the state of California will be requiring nonsmokers and former smokers to voluntarily subject themselves to the harmful effects of secondhand smoke by requiring them to utilize smoking areas for vaping purposes. To me, this seems like a...

    Intro/Post 1 of obligatory 5 post minimum/Long

A definite welcome to you! And, as someone who passed their 1-year no-smoking anniversary recently (last month, in fact), just know that you're absolutely on the right track. :)

Is the idea of regulation inherently bad?

And congrats to you, too! :) I love that I can -breathe- again. I never was much of a runner... but now, I'm becoming one, and I always wanted to be. :) But I'll leave it at that as I don't wanna derail the conversation TOO much. :)

    So, Carto-Tanks

My experience: I used to get dry carto issues, even if I'd filled the durned thing properly. A tank solved that. (I don't use the poly tanks, though... I now have a selection of Phiniac custom tanks, which for me also fulfills my girlish urge to have my PV look different from everyone else's.) :)

    Another newb..........

I'm one of the folks who doesn't mind big blocks of text, so however you post is fine by me! (I only pull out the big stick for horrific spelling...) :P Either way, welcome, both to ECF and vaping in general. Bet you'll like 'em both!

can vaping make a room smell as well?

While I don't notice much by way of lingering aroma from my flavor choices, my husband leaves a pina colada trail behind him. :)

    Pulled over for suspicious activity?

The only time I've had an officer ask me questions about my Lavatube clone and Phiniac tank was when they were wondering where they could order a custom glass tank like that for their brother. :) However, I -did- have the manager of a local bar the other night insinuating I was doing something...

the "wanna know" bug bites again!

While I used to change liquids frequently, and had a morning, evening, etc vape of choice, now I find myself with 2-3 flavors that I tend to stick with 24/7. At the moment, I'm vaping a very basic bubblegum flavor. It's not offensive, tastes sort of like Bazooka, and works just fine no matter...

Is the idea of regulation inherently bad?

My two cents' worth: Nicotine is a naturally-occurring substance. It's in tomatoes and potatoes (albeit in smaller quantities than it is in cigarettes or most juices). Yes, it's addictive. But it is not the only substance in commercial tobacco that is addictive. The tars are just as addictive...

    Vamo vs lavatube

As someone who has tried both the rebranded lavatube-clone V1 and the more current V2, I actually PREFER the V1 visually and shape-wise, and it seems to give me less hassles than the V2 does (the V2 I've got is finicky). I haven't tried the Vamo, although I'm eyeing picking up one later this...

    Trend/fad?

While I do think they're becoming 'trendy', that's because the amount of places which have outlawed smoking has grown to the point where it's a trend to have to quit out of self-defense... and since it's easier to quit by using an ecig (and, in my opinion, more effective) than it is to go...

After 3 months I still have questions!!!

You're very welcome. Just be forewarned, Phiniac tanks are like crack. I persently have 6 sitting in front of me with a 7th on the way, and my husband has 2 or 3. (I even have one of their Phineer wood-veneered tanks. Those are beautiful, but are finicky because of the veneering as it makes the...

After 3 months I still have questions!!!

I'm predominantly a tank + punched carto user, so I'll answer 3 and 4 and leave the other two for someone else. I use Phiniac tanks exclusively at this point, and if I buy the 3-hole prepunched non-branded cartos that many places sell (I get mine from Hoosier Ecigs), they fit my Phiniac XL tank...

    Still Can't post in sub-forums?

Give it a little time, it's not an automatic thing. Some forums also require 10 or 15 posts, if memory serves me properly. :) Just hang out and ask questions in the newbie group and try again later!

    So, I need help...and I'm getting desperate.

Boge cartos, for me, are very hit-or-miss. I actually far prefer pre-punched tank cartos and an external tank -- larger capacity for juice means less filling of the carto, it'll automatically refill itself, and as a general rule, I can keep the prepunched cartos going for a week or two where I...

    Dripping Explanation

I'm one of the handful here who hates dripping. I find that for me, I really dislike the necessity of having to add drops regularly, and I'm a moderate to heavy vaper, so a tank works a lot better for me. But, if you're looking to taste-test new flavors, dripping is the way to go, especially if...

    New member

Like another poster said, take the vapor into the mouth, and then inhale from there. Most new vapers try to inhale the same way they smoked at first, and PV/VG both have a tendency to dry out the back of the throat on contact, so you'll experience a phenomenon I like to call 'vaper's cough' at...

    Baking oil as e-liquid/juice?

I'm wondering if by cooking oil you mean actual oils or whether you're referring to extracts (like vanilla, almond, etc). If you mean oil: you can burn the everloving crap out of yourself. :) If you mean extract: the flavors in most baking extracts are about a quarter of the strength of the...
