I've only used 2mm 7x7 SS rope and I wrap 500 mesh around coil end. I cut the piece of mesh so it goes down into the decking but not into juice well. I just use a cutting disc on a Dremal to cut SS cable then rinse it off real well

I purchased 4 of them for my wife and I ,2 from one vendor 2 from another.We had similar experiences. Gurgling problems with all of them (I use 50/50 & 60/40 juice) We've had a MUCH better experience with the Kanger Protank .......zero gurgling ,nice vapor and flavor as well I'm done messing...

One thing about the IClear 30 it seams to really power through the juice. My daily juice consumption is much higher when I use the Iclear30
