I switched from single top coil clearos to BDCs and I honestly don't notice much flavor or vapor production improvements. For me, the difference is in the lack of dry hits with the BDC.

Variable Wattage battery devices make coil ohms irrelevant. Building your own coils can be fun, but it isn't necessary.

It's not rocket science, you don't even need to build your own coils. Up the VG content. If throat hit suffers, up the nicotine.
