Poll on vaping in the workplace

I vape wherever I want. When in an area that may not approve, I simply take hits in a way that very little discharge can be detected. If people can't see the vapor, only smell, they usually don't disapprove. My flavors are all mouth watering tasty mixes from AltCig so even the non smokers enjoy...

    LR Ego SC Cartomizer?

There everywhere. My favorite is the Kanger T2. It has replaceable coils ranging from about 1.6 to 2.6. I've seen them around for under 5 bucks. The coils run about a buck and a half. Sturdy build, colors, screw on tip, very well sealed-no leaks. They are eGo's so you may need an eGo to 510...

    Case for VariCool SmokBox

I had trouble carrying my VariCool SmokBox from SmokTek safely. I found this case on E-Bay and its perfect. It's a lined, leather case, brown, with a lanyard and a small enclosed pocket on the back. Cost $4.99 and they pay the shipping. Krusell 95232 Edge Mobile Leather Pouch for iPhone 4/4S and...

SmokTek SmokBox VariCool - Custom Box Mod (Made in the U.S.A)-Review

Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking. I haven't found any ejuice that I could stand the taste of above 3.7 volts. The Varicool kicks it for me at the bottom of the dial so I'll wait until I get the right batteries before I take it for a real test drive.

SmokTek SmokBox VariCool - Custom Box Mod (Made in the U.S.A)-Review

I've been taking it easy with the Beast. I'm using a Kanger T2 with 1.8 Ω res. The beast is set as low as it will go. I'll keep using these single coils until the new batteries get here. SmokTek did not have any instructions or warnings packed with it. Thanks for the heads-up. What combination...

    My 1st Real E-Cig

Wow, congratulation! Hopefully, my quest will either end with a Provari or maybe a Darwin. I do like the Darwin's form factor. Great screen and it doesn't look like a bedroom toy.

    Why 5 Volts?

So, let's see if I have it right. Any VV with switching regulator will keep a consistent vape. When they started producing Carty's they were generally medium to high resistance so it was a good idea to have a VV. Thus, when you want higher wattage you could increase the voltage. Then, along came...

    Vaping Power Chart

Okay, I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box but I thought I understood a simple mathematical formula. W=2V/R. Watts equals the voltage multiplied times two divided by the resistance of the cart. So if I'm using a 2 ohm carty at 4 volts the formula would read: (2)4/2=W or W=4 volts. Why does...

    Older Folks and Vaping

Hey Kico, have you seen these: AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | T2 Clearomizer - 2.4ml, Replaceable Head. I've had one for about a month and it's working great. Only holds 2.5 ml. but that size looks and works great on my twist batts.

    Need help with definitions

I recently found a Product made by Kanger. It's a single coil, 2.5 ml, 2.4 ohm CLEAROMIZER with replaceable coils (different ohms). It comes in colors but is clear enough to monitor you juice level. Very easy to fill. Just unscrew tip and fill with bottle. The center air tube is about 1/4"...

SmokTek SmokBox VariCool - Custom Box Mod (Made in the U.S.A)-Review

Great job. I like it. My questions about the 6 amp beast were because I was considering ordering one. I decided to go ahead and order the Porsche. I'd rather have too much power than not enough!! We'll see how it acts in about two days when it gets here. I was looking for a triple coil but all...

    VV Gripper by SmokTech Review

Sorry to digress, back to the thread, I think I'll wait on the Gripper. I do LOVE that OLCD. Got my first one on a Cowon S9 Curve, probably the first, commercial use, application. What a picture.

Ok, I found one at http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ptr08100w.pdf. switching regulator. Got to do some more homework before I start building my own but I think it's within my reach.
