So sitting here at work...vape starts behaving oddly till i unscrew the tank to see it starting to flood. SIGH...oh well .... happens i suppose, just blew it out and adjusted the cotton a bit till I can get home and re-wick it. Me little rant since I'm alone at work and got nobody to chat to :)...

So I have a killer 705 clone that I can't setup due to the ceramic cup being too snug to the centre post. 1st attempt of just using a file wasn't so successful, so before I go and see what else I can do to widen it out by just a mm or so. Any advice on what you guys or gals have done with said...

Just built it on my vivi nova with a 2mm silica wick, just waiting for some 36g kanthal so I can get to playing with my killer 705 clone as 32g is too big and won't allow me to set the ceramic cup down on the positive post :/ lame but what do ya do lol.

Been awhile since I've posted anything but since I've discovered the "micro coil" I have to say it's an awesome expierence as the coil came out @ 2.6ohms using 9 wraps of 32g kanthal so run it at 5v for 9.6ohms and will probobly stick to this style for awhile. Cheers.

Agree with most for the mech and a genesis as being the best experience, my setup for that is a MKB-TS (GGTS clone) with an aga-t2+ twisted 32g kanthal to reach 0.9ohms. using 270 ss mesh.

So just a quick question as I've only worked with kanthal, Does anyone notice a difference with nichrome as far as taste is concerned?

So twisted 32g kanthal for a vivi nova was not so successful as the wire was too fat to be installed properly so the grommet was getting all distorted.

Congrats, from reviews I've seen it seems to be indeed a solid device. When I bought myself my 1yr vape present it was between this or a mech, I went with a mech as I already had a VV APV. Glad ya like it.

Fair enough Dave. I haven't really ran into said issue and I use the pulse method for setting up my coil with very minimal torching to the mesh, basicly to get off any contaminants. Also I agree with the overall air volume too as i find the aga on the airy side with stock air hole but thats...

Why shorting out? i don't let the wick touch bottom but other than that the wick is snug in the hole with a slight lean to positive.
