Ok I went back to the site, I don't see xxl, I must be seeing things, time to get off the iPad for awhile huh? Sorry

You are not seeing things.

We do stock the Smoktech XL cartomizer but I made the ascription you were referring to the dual coil which I described in the previous post.

If you were looking for DC then they are all there on this page: CARTOMIZERS as well as the single coil cartomizers.

Single coil 510 cartomizers are :
X @ 1ml
XL @ 1.5ml.
They are LR rated at 1.7 per the manufacturer.

The Smoktech 510 XL LR 1.7 is a favorite among the crew.
It fits into a tank quite nicely. They are NOT pre punched.

Tootsie is not in her pajamas BTW Sashwa.
She is au naturel today.

I will say straight off we have small bottles of starter juice and pre filled carts.

We are primarily a hardware shop aimed at the beginner to mid line vaper though cartomizers run the gamut.
As we evolve and hear from our customers our plan is to serve their needs possibly eliminating some items while adding others for more advanced or, ahem, hard core vapors.

Batteries seem to be something I am hearing we need to stock as well as tanks and their respecting parts.

Boge 3.2? What do you vape them on?

Ok so I have a question, but first off let me say I like my vape warm, real warm almost hot. Right now I am using a 1.25 om dual coil LR xl carto. Now then I have never used standard resistance or single coil. I went from ce2 to LR dual coil cartos.
I see all the time that using dual coil, LR will simulate 5v vaping, but drains batteries faster, so my question is

If u use a single coil standard resistance carto at 5 v, will it vape the same as using the LR dual coil at a lower, say 4.2v? And which will give u longer battery life? A single, standard at 5v, or a LR, dual coil, at 4.2v??

Okay, lets assume the SR single coil is 2.2 Ohms.. At 5V, thats 11.36 watts (Watts = "Heat") and 2272mA
The 1.25 ohm DC carto at 4.2V would be 14.11 watts (Really hot.. Most likely burnt-plastic tasting hot) and 3360mA

The same 1.25 ohm DC carto on its designed voltage (3.7V) would be 10.95 watts (pretty darn close to 2.2 ohms at 5V) and 2960mA

So we have a 2.2 ohm @ 5V = 2272mA
and 1.25 ohm @ 3.7V = 2960mA

Since both are roughly the same wattage, the question is battery life.. Since the 1.25@3.7V is drawing roughly 25% more amperage (mA = milliamps, or 1/1000 of an amp) you can figure that a 3.7V battery with the 1.25 ohm DC will drain about 25% faster than a 5V device with a SR 2.2 ohm atty / carto.

Long and short: lower resistance = hotter vape at lower voltages.. Drawback is it take more battery power than to get the same wattage out of a higher voltage device with a higher resistance atty.

I dont know if I've cleared anything up at all, or if I'm just being confusing, LOL.. :toast:

Great, perfect explanation, even for a non tech house wife!! Well done! Thank u mendwngs! So in your opinion, the two set ups we wrote about in therory should be about the same vape or no? And I do vape a 1.25 om LR dual coil at 4.2v, and love it, but since my box mod runs on 14500s, I wondered if there was another set up that would give me bout the same vape and better battery life? The way I vape now I go through 3 sets of batts a day!

I would avoid using the 1.25 ohm DC on 4.2V, thats a lot of power for such a low resistance carto.. (Over 14 watts!) IMO, that will result in burnt carto at best, and dead carto at worst.

I would keep the 1.25 ohm DC carto to 3.7 volts, or lower for best experience. And yes, a 1.25 ohm carto will give roughly the same wattage at 3.7 volts, that a Standard resistance carto will at 5V, plus the SR@5V combo sucks roughly 25% less mA, so longer battery life.

(This is assuming that both the 3.7V, and 5V devices are the same capacity (mAh) Remember; more mAh = longer life between charges.)

A 6v maxi roughstack, I like a warm vape!
