Yes,I received my Cyborg yesterday..I did purchase the 2 rings so I can run it in 18650 mode,Machining seems to be very nice and the mod is very lightweight even in 18650 mode,BUT I can see problems coming..The 510 connection is made from aluminum including the threads,I believe this will be the shortcoming of this device. Most mod maker quit doing this years ago because of the cross threading issues. With a lot of people using SS rebuildables now I don't see anyway possible these threads will hold up over time with constant threading and unthreading of different atomizers or cartomizers...Sure,You can buy another top cap but dang,I have already spent $250.00 I would have expected more !!!!!!

Well, we knew it wasn't SS, so obviously it could potentially cause crossthreading issues down the road. Guess we will have wait and see :) Meanwhile I find it a great comfort that there are more and more potential replacements coming out all the time, and for cheap as well. If the DNA20 module is solid, I am happy with it, basically :)

Thanks for your input by the way. Hoping to see more reviews soon. :)

Icewall, I hope I didn't confuse anyone with my write up...This only issue I have with the Cyborg is the threading/510 connection, The rest of the unit seems very solid and well machined..It seems that there could be an insert made out of stainless that would fix what I believe is the only shortcoming of this device.....

I got your point and agree. :) can't wait to see the device for myself.

Ok, I'm having some serious mixed feelings regarding this new purchase I've made(and received). The gdmf up/down buttons are upside down!!! Are u freakin kidding me?? Secondly, I totally agree with the cheap feeling 510 top cap. Just threading a small igo to it feels like its going to break. I haven't tried a heavier genny yet but I'm not too confident in trying to thread a aga t onto it in a rush. Furthermore, I bought it with the extension rings and they don't fit together flush making someone like me(very .... about my mods...particularly over hangs, tubes not meeting flush, smooth threading, etc) totally useless as I'd never put those ugly things on my mod. Here's a pic for reference.

Moving along down the list, I get misfires. Ill hit the fire button, and take a hit only to realize it wasn't firing even though the button was pressed down. Doesn't happen often and think I can get over it but with the price tag of this thing, I shouldn't have to deal with "think I can get over it".

Lastly, I found a scratch on mine that ill show a pic if below. I thought it was just a rare occupancy with mine so I mentioned it to user Romz who posted his next to his e Vic up above and he said he had a scratch in the same EXACT spot. This indicates some flaw in the machining of these things and lack of QC. Don't we buy things in the U.S. specifically since we're under the impression that there are stricter QC guidelines? Here's the scratch and Romz can also post his if he likes:

Once again, I can probably live with it but come on...you pay a premium price tag of your hard earned money so that you avoid receiving products that have u say "i guess i can live with it". You expect to receive an item free from flaws and not with buttons backwards at the very least. Speaking if which, is this backwards button thing on all dna20's? Is it a dna20 thing or is this a serious design flaw? Also, does anyone else have a scratch there?

With all the above said, I HATE writing bad reviews. But after all the money I paid for this, I'm greatly disappointed and would like to know what they're going to do about this backwards button and terrible extension ring situation. Actually, ill email them right now and just return the rings.

If you look closely, each of extension rings have a bevel on one side. You put one on top of the main battery tube and and one on the bottom and you'll a smoother look. I believe that's the way it was designed. If it misfires, make sure you are using a button top battery. I was using MNKE and had problems but once I switched to AWs, it never misfired.
