#9 I love spring because it reminds me of my childhood some cherished memories of crisp spring mornings, hunting for four leaf clovers, wearing white gloves and patten leather shoes for Easter Brunch, coloring eggs and going to the coast. making memories with my kids now...life is good. Glad I finally quit smoking and will be healthier for my family.

Spring has a special meaning to me for a couple of reasons.
For one thing, it means my birthday is coming (March 29th) and while the numbers keep adding up, I am still happy to celebrate the day I was born with warmer weather and flowers blooming. In addition to this, my late grandmother always put out her humming bird feeders the last week of March. She swore up and down that no matter what day she put them up, the first birds always appeared on the day of my birth. Spring was her favorite time of year and I always felt special that one of her favorite Spring celebrations were welcomed on my birthday.
Thanks so much for the contest. Win or lose, Spring is still the best time of year for me.

I absolutely love to garden. This is the first time in many years that I have not had a house with a yard. Instead, I have an apartment with a balcony. Not exactly a gardener's dream but I plan to have a glorious potted garden to enjoy all season long. So, it marks the time I can start picking out my favorite flowers and nurturing them into the beautiful babies they are meant to be.

Spring is the time when I get to open the windows and let in all the fresh air filled with the scent of grass, flowers and sunshine. (Does sunshine have a smell?)
