hello, i brought a resistance meter which messures in ohms,
there is a battery built in so i can not take the back off, anyway i recoil my own heads for my clearomizers and have been using my sdv mod which has
protection in it so if my coil i make has a fault it dose not blow the battery,
now i have this meter and if i made a coil and it has a fault on it will it blow the built in battery or is it proctected to?

While (I think) the meter needs to push a tiny amount of current to the coil to get a reading it's a really tiny amount. It's not trying to heat up the coil. I'm confident in saying that there's no danger (if there was then there wouldn't be much of a point with meters) but perhaps someone else can give a more qualified answer as to why that is.
