does anyone vape 0mg around here? i'm really not supposed to have any nicotine because of a (minor) heart condition, but have been vaping 6mg for the past few months. it's been fine, but since i have the tendency to chain vape, i figured it would be best not to play russian roulette so i recently ordered some 0mg juice from gourmet vapor. i was wondering if it would still have a decent TH?

thanks

No. 0mg has no hit. I'm vaping 0mg 1/2 the time and 4mg 1/2 the time.

Nicotine is TH

You can get fake TH with additives like QHit (I think LitwCigUSA.net and FreedomSMokeUSA.com and OneStopDIYShop.com sell it). And I think vapornine sells some other TH additive

And there are flavors with throat sensation - mint, menthol. pepper - FreedomSmokeUSA has (black) pepper juice, cinnamon, ginger (try Velvet Vapor Raspberry Gingerale)

And note - some natural tobacco flavorings may have some nic in even 0nic juices.

1.6 ohm Dual coil produces warm vapor and very slight throat hit at 3.7 volts w/ 0mg.

I agree w/ dormouse.
Super strong flavors like menthol crystals, wintergreen oil, spearmint oil, cinnamon oil, and black pepper extract can produce strong sensation even w/o inhale.

Super rich flavors like lorann black walnut, sassafrass, and clove can be satisfying w/o sensation.

Other milder flavors like bavarian creme, coconut, etc. can also be satisfying w/o sensation.

DIY is cheapest way to try many flavors.

BTW You cannot use any LR cartos on a slim battery - only if you have batteries 450mah+ and even then some people won't go below 2 ohms on sealed batteries, only on mods with removable inner industrial aa shaped batteries.

True...If you run 1.6 ohm carto on a 3.7volt batt then PV must be capable of at least 2.5 amps to be safe.

I never understood what all the fuss was about throat hit. Been nic free from the beginning and I like the smoothness of zero nic vaping. I have seen reviews talking about throat hit on zero nic juice, which is a point of confusion for me. I always thought it was just the nicotine that gave throat hit. I've tried one zero nic juice that had more throat hit (itchy sensation that makes you cough?) than the low and medium nic juices I've sampled. I don't know why.

You're lucky.

I like TH while vaping and TH while drinking Coke.
I made some black pepper extract which can produce a scratchy TH; works pretty good for mild TH in low concentration.

Sometimes I like tea w/o TH and 0mg w/o TH.

GOOD throat hit cannot be produced through additives. Bad, scratchy, makes you cough throat hit is all you get.

Good throat hit is a combination of warmer vaper (more power from better batteries) and higher nicotine levels.

I like to vape black pepper strong w/o inhale in e-pipe.
Sometimes just teasing back of throat.
Nice tranquil experience...You must focus grass hopper.

When inhaling black pepper I have to drop concentration very low till it produces only a slight TH.
You're right, black pepper TH not as nice as nic TH but worth keeping in arsenal.

I've vaped 0 nicotine for months. The only difference I can discern between the nicotine juices and the non nicotine juices is that the nicotine juices have a distinct peppery note to them. Now, I like spicy, but after awhile it was irritating to my throat.

0 nicotine juices are smooth, but if you like a sharp little kick, cinnamon, citrus, and some of the other flavors others have mentioned can give you a edgy sensation to your vape.

Good luck! :)

While watching a movie last night, I had a bag of wasabi flavored popcorn. Boy did that kick! It burned my tongue and I can't taste anything right now but I enjoyed it immensely. Your post on black pepper got me thinking, wouldn't some wasabi flavor mixed in to an e-juice give a massive throat hit like sensation without the need for nic. I've seen some wasabi infused teas and ice creams. Just a thought.

i'll definitely look into some black pepper additive to my 0 nic juices. i dropped nicotine and caffeine both in the same day, and honestly it never got to me. i drink a very tasty decaf that i hunted down that gives me the placebo coffee drinkin' experience. the battery i'm using now on my PV makes a warmer vapor i've noticed over my old one. so that gives a more "smoking" feeling. i've definitely vaped some cooler, no hit carts and felt like "wow, what a waste of time!" i'll experiment until i find my Secret Sauce ;)

thanks so much for the input everyone!

I've vaped Camel and Clove from DFW Vapor 0 mg nicotine and have not got any throat hit at all. However, I have read that putting your hand around the end of the cart and allowing some extra air time (or space between your mouth and cart) and inhaling produces somewhat of a throat hit due to the excess oxygen involved. I tried it the other night for fun and it works to some degree.
