1/1 Was my last attempt for GG Stealth- Also suggestion for COV website..

Been over a year trying to buy a GG Stealth and I'm done...my attempts will be no longer...

3 min. After I got email notification that the GG Stealths were avail. on the COV site I attempted to purchase for over an hour! (and then they were sold out). Constant server errors, obviously from hign traffic and a crappy shared hosted server the site is on...


- My advice to COV is find a better hosting providor and/or make sure the site is hosted on a dedicated server and NOT on a shared server with low bandwidths..
I work for an ISP currently, and my internet speeds are at 30MB dl, These changes needed to the CoV site are simple changes..

-Sorry for rant, But I needed to express my constant frustration..

I guess I'm in the minority that enjoys the train wreck. Look at it this way, if everything ran smoothly and the server had the capacity to handle millions of simultaneous requests, you'd still be fighting with how many ever people for a limited amount of stock. Poof! They'd be gone and you'd still have no certainty that you'd be among the lucky.
When everything goes in the toilet it levels the playing field. Everybody is groping in the dark, using their persistence, guile and resourcefulness to grab an invisible brass ring. I know time is valuable, but I make a game out of it better than any video game because the stakes are real.

Guys... This wasnt a Pre-Order!

This was left over stock FROM the Pre-Orders.

We have been on a dedicated server for a long time now... Before we changed servers AGAIN to combat the issues ya'll are experiencing... (crashing etc)

Limited Quantity going by "First come first serve".. I dont know what else to say us GG fanatics are quite the tenacious bunch!!!

That was my point Justin. Matrix has been trying to get a Stealth for a year, but preorders were 3 months ago...he should have ordered then. He'd have one in his hands by now.

The Advanced Orders were set up so you could order however many you wanted and have them made for you.

Yeah, Thanks River.. I guess keeping track of all the pre-order times and paying more attention and also having the fundage at the time of the pre-order would have ensured that I would already have one in my hand..Just never seemed to work out.

I know there is a little bit of timing involved but as you saw last night, pre orders are the way to go if at all possible. Imeo has a notification thread in the GG forum. You could subscribe to it and get notified via email anytime he makes an announcement. That way you don't miss out on anything.
