The old rule of thumb is keep turning it up till it gets too hot or taste burnt. Kanger says between 12 and 25.[/QUOT

Thanks sthur
I'm blown away by the stock kanger coils. Great flavor.
Guess I've always been leery of going too high on power but now I realize that u get the full flavor of your juices at different temps. Can't wait to check out the .3 subtank coils

If you think kanger coils can run high wattage you'd be blown away by aspire coils, they wick better. I run a .5 atlantis coil at 28 watts and some go up to 35. Their .3 are recommended at 70 to 80 watts and I've seen vids where they're being used at 90. I had to buy an ipv4 100 watt mod to try em out at high wattage and try temp control coils in my subtank mini. It's still in transit aaaah! Get in my hand!

I recently grabbed an Atlantis 2 and the ipv4. Pretty darn impressive IMHO. I have an original subtank and the Nano and I kinda rotate em around and Full of different kjnds of flavors. Can I run theese new super low kanger coils in my OG subtank? Or does it have to be the new "plus"? If like to try the temp control mode out.

I'm using the kanger tc coils in a subtank mini, working good.

I'm sure we can all agree that the ecig technology has came up fast in the last couple of years.
I went back to analogs after 7+ months of vaping due to the hard sucking, problematic issues with the first line of bottom wicking tanks.( T1,2,3,4 & Pro tank )
Over two months ago my nephew showed me the lastest technology of Sub Ohm vaping. I went out and got a Kangertech mini but could not fire it up on my old Vamo mod due to the .5 ohm coil it came with. So I rebuilt it to a 1.8 ohm, screwed it on my Vamo and fired it up. It vaped clouds at the highest 15 watt setting.

Since that day in April I am back to loving the vape. I've spent over $1,400. on all the new mods and tanks. just like I was years ago when I first quit analogs, ( like a kid in a candy store.)

My preference is the Kt. mini at a 1.1 ohm build at 19 watts. Love the air flow, the flavor and clouds.
The re-building of these coils is much easier on the eyes and fingers than the old bottom wicking coils were.

I love the Atlantis and Arctic tanks as well, though I can't seem to master the vertical coil build.
I re-build the Atlantis coils to a horizontal coil and wick which works fine. As for re-building the Arctic to a horizontal coil, That takes art and ingenuity but I got them working well.

As is stated in this thread, the high watts on 1 to 3 ohm coils works in part to great wicking.
To all a good day always

Those vaping charts were made years ago and aren't relevant to current wire, wicking, and coil styles. They're all made around the old "wrap the wire around a thin silicon wick" style of single coil that virtually no one uses anymore. They make no adjustments for the type of wire used, the gauge of the wire, the build style of the coil (microcoil, spaced coil, vertical coil, dual coil, etc...), the amount and type of wicking, nor the amount of airflow.

Those old charts are pretty much useless in todays vaping world.

If you think that's impressive you should try the Freemax Starre with it's .25ohm coils that are rated to 100W. Even their .15ohm temperature control coils are rated to 75W.
