1.2 % to 1.8% help please

Hello having some issues getting my favorite ejuice in 1.8% so I have been buying a 1.2% 30ml and a 2.4% 30ml bottle and mixing them together to make it 1.8%. Now Im having issues getting my favorite flavor in 2.4% but I do have 48mg/ml of nicotine so how much more do I need to add to make my 1.2% a 1.8%.

My ejuic is
50PG/50VG
nicotine
48mg/ml

How many ml shoud I add to make it 1.8%?

48mg/ml is easily cut to 24 16 or 12 or 6 mg/ml .

Add PG/VG solution to it to cut it,so:

48-->24--> 1ml of 48+1ml of solution=24mg/ml
48-->16--> 1ml of 48+2ml of solution
48-->12--> 1ml of 48+3ml of solution

Now solution can be a mix of PG+VG+flavoring+sweetener

You got to calculate what % of flavor and/or sweetener to add and adjust the solution accordingly while keeping the base nic amount intact.

Now 1ml of 48mg/ml + 3ml of solution to arrive at 12mg/ml with 10% flavoring and 10% sweetener-->

2.4ml of solution + 0.3ml of flavor+0.3ml of sweetener

Thank you for your reply martini but my math is wore what did you say?

I just want to make sure I got it so I need to use 2ml of my ejuice and 1ml of my nic listed above and that gives me 1.6%?

If I figured that out correctly with your formula then I can do this:
20ml e liquid + 10 ml of my 48 nic = a total of 30ml of 1.6% of e juice.
(will this affect/effect the flavor?)

yes,if that 1.6% figure means 16mg/ml

adding 20ml effectively cut the base by 2/3,so result is 1/3 nic base

Others will surely shim-in later or tomorrow,explain things differently,be patient!

I am adding no favoring jst trying to increase the nic level from 12% to 16 or 18%. I have 48mg/ml of nicotine that I want to use to increase an already mixed e juice that i purchased th juice is 50/50 at 12%.

If your just adding 48 mg nic base to your 12 mg juice and you want 18 mg. juice-

10 ml of 12 mg + 2 ml of 48 mg = 17.3 mg. juice

(ml #1 x mg #1) + (ml #2 x mg #2)/(ml #1 + ml #2)

10 mL * 12 mg = 120 mg of nic
48 mg * 2 mL = 96 mg of nic

216 mg of nic divided by 12 mL = 18 mg of nic per mL
