Ok so I've build many coils here and there and I would classify myself "ok" with it. I usually build around 1.3ohm single coils. My problem here is, I can't seem to nail a dual coil and every time I do, it reads out sub ohm, which, I really don't want right now. Any tips? I've searched for hours on youtube and, although I've learn a lot, I still have yet to find this.
Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is your problem, but with dual coils in parallel (that is to say, regular dual coils) the resistance is halved. If you build two 1.3 ohm single coils and install them as dual coil the total resistance is 0.65. If you want to stay above 1 ohm you need to build your coils at 2 ohm and higher.
