Do the 1.5 ohm tend to die really quick?

Now the backstory:

I've recently gotten into carto-tanks and really like them. Been using the dual coil 2.0 ohm cartos in them.

So I'm at my local B & M getting some more when the guy behind the counter asks what voltage I'm vaping; to which I reply 4.0

Then he tells me I'll get more vapor and TH from a 1.5 vs the 2 ohm, so I get a few to try it out

So far the 1.5 seems to be a hotter, drier vape than the 2.0, but the biggest difference seems to be the 1.5 ohm cartos die in a day or two, as opposed to a week or more with the 2.0 ohms

Now keep in mind, the device, settings, juice, etc are all identical - the only thing that I've changed is the carto. Even purchased from the same store

So just wondering if this is a common thing or did I just get a few bad cartos? I know that happens now and then, and it's not like I've got some major cash invested so it's no big deal, more of a curiosity

Also wondering too if the 1.5's tend to "tighten up" on the draw throughout the course of the day. Starts off nice and light/loose, then tightens up to where it feels like you're inhaling straight juice

Thoughts?

They are dieing sooner because of the voltage. At least was what I figured with my testing when I first went into VV. 1.5ohm are usually used on standard non VV devices. When I used up the last of my 1.5ohm cartos on my VV mod they died faster if I had the voltage above 3.8.

If you lower the voltage they will likely last you longer.

Again this is based of my own experience and may not be a complete fact.

Avg Vaper - Volts recommended - 1.8-2.0v over ohms reading.
You were right on target. Now running hotter>higher watts

Are the Cartos the same brand?

You do realize he is increasing sales and you are increasing expenses.:)

OK, that's what I thought. Seemed like I had it dialed in pretty good but I was willing to give it a try. Don't know if he's increasing sales or just a dolt

I get 10 days to 2 weeks out of my 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos. Probably could get more but I like the feel of a fresh carto. I think it helps that I am using a variable wattage PV that keeps the power consistent.

Thats about what im getting. Im using a kgo vv(nothing fancy) and start around 3.4v with a freshy, by the time im about done with it im pumping it to 6v and its like sucking a milkshake thru a stir straw
