Just changed the coil in my Herakles Hydra for the first time. My 1.8 ohm coil was reading 0.0 on my istick 60W. After screwing it in and out, it's now consistently reading 0.23 ohms. It's working, but I'm a bit confused why it's reading so low. I cleaned the tank with warm water and thought it was dry before reassembling, but still don't know why it's reading so low. Any suggestions? I briefly tried another coil with the same results. This setup is new for me, had been using a Itaste VV with an iclear 16.

Any chance you have the Mod in TC mode. 1.8ohm should cause most TC mods to ERROR out. You need to run the 1.8ohm coil in VW or VV modes ONLY. IF it IS the 1.8ohm coil and its reading .23... Theres a short or somewhere, coil touching where it shouldn't, post issue, insulator issue, 510 connection issue.

This is why I say, IF you have a mod with replaceable coils you need a Volt/ohm meter or 510 tester. seperate from the mod. To figure out problems. It's NOT just the UNREGULATED user that need proper tools and knowledge.

Washed the 1.8ohm coil, or Washed the tank and installed a new coil?

Verify the Coil resistance. Should be printed on the coil side housing.
