Middle of nowhere
Looks good.
Be careful of those gourmets.
I made some tanks with them and over time they weaken to the juice and I started to taste rubber real bad.
I no longer use them. Going to get some rubber washers for water faucets and try them next.
They are stiffer and I think they will work better.

So where did you get the tubing. Not been able to find any yet.

Grommets are vinyl so no rubber tasting (well, at least for me).

I brought them here (they accept paypal, too) and can also be found on eBay: $8.20 for a pack of 50

Once you have the steel tube in the grommet, they are stable.

Though I do find inconsistencies in the grommets, so some that do not give a tight fight, I throw out.

Polycarbonate tubing is the way to go...acrylic is cheaper, but will crack easily at slight pressure: $1.11/ft

Hope this helps everyone.

Again, thanks to Vermonster13 for the dimensions/measurements!!

Hmmm, how to, Live2Ski? Well, here's what I did:
- cut tubing (a lil under 2" - I eyeball everything, no ruler -- I used the virtual ruler online...lol)
- use dremel to smoothen the edges
- cut ce2
- use the left over steel from the ce2 to insert into one grommet and place in one end of the tube
- insert the cut ce2 into the other grommet and place on the other end of the tube

That's about it...

I also found that the pipe cutter I bought at Lowe's was booboo.

So, I picked one up at Harbor Freight for $5 and it's much more heavy duty and cuts a lot cleaner than the one at Lowe's...also picked up a dremel kit for $9 there, too.

Looks great! Thanks for the link to the vinyl grommet supplier.

I had decent luck using grommets with the vials from madvapes that Parallex2 used.

I drilled 3/8" holes in the vial and the cap and installed the grommets in the holes. The pressure exerted by the steel tubes creates the seal.

That was my experience also.
It took a couple weeks for deteriorate and to come though the juice where I tasted it.

Yeah, I don't think it's a safe material to use... I looked it up and vinyl breaks down and can leach chemicals. Not a food safe product unfortunately.
