Hey everyone. My username is pronounced drummer gal . I have been free of analog cigs for almost exactly 1 week now. I quit on the Ides of March 2014 at around 2:30 in the afternoon. The vapin store that I went to was most helpful. They seemed more interested in getting me living more healthy than trying to sell me a product of some type. They showed me how to setup and use my vaporizer. They where world class people in there. On the way home I figured I'd try a real cig to compare it to vaping. I got about a quarter of the way through it and then threw it out the window. And I haven't looked back since. The only thing that I miss is holding a cig when I'm driving. As I am a truck driver I guess u can see why. But I was so proud of myself that I couldn't bring myself to lighting up again. I purchased a itaste vv 3.0 with a kanger protank 2 and a couple of small bottles of eliquid. Now less than one week l8r I now own 2 of these and an itaste 134customized. I guess u could say that I'm hooked on vaping. In as little as a week I can already tell a difference in my breathing and my sense of smell and taste. I was also impressed at how well vapin goes good with beer. Anyway.
I am new to this type of forum setup.i usually hang out on the auto forums that I'm a member of and their formats are a little different. I tend to be a reader of the forums rather than a poster. That being said I do chime in with my worthless opinions from time to time. I am a drummer that's been playing for about 32 years now. I am no Buddy Rich or Neil Peart but I can hold my own. I am still amazed at the look of horror I get sometime when people see a girl get behind the drums . I am a truck driver and that really sux but it pays the bills and in this economy I guess I should be thankful that I have a job. I love music of all kinds and love cars almost as much (as long as they are American).I'll try to update my personal profile as soon as I figure out the forums format a little better. Anyway.
My wife (sorta kinda in the state of Va.)has already noticed that the house smells better and is easier to clean up behind me. So that alone is worth it to me. So in short I'm really looking forward to hearing new info on vapin and look forward to trying to get more people off of the habit. I'll probably have more questions l8r that I'll ask but for now I am enjoying the life free of bondage to the big tobacco companies. Take care and thanx for letting me be part of the community.

Welcome to the forum, Christy! Nothing is more satisfying than getting off of the stinkies! I've been 6 weeks myself and love it. Seems that B&M you went to took care of you nicely. Those setups should hold you for a good while. This is a great forum with many helpful, knowledgeable people who are willing to help with any questions to make your vaping experience the best it can be.

Welcome to ECF!! We are glad to have you here! There are tons of folks that can help you with just about anything you can ask. The only thing I can add is to try not to jump into any equipment on a whim. I have a lot of trophies of my bout with this too! It is easy to do as there is a plethora of equipment and choices out there. Stick with something that works and research, research, research! The best advice anyone can give!! Good luck and, once again, WELCOME TO THE FAM!!

Well a little newto the lingo but no tasting bar yet . I'm vapin a water melon bubble gum and a black berry lemonade in an 18 mg nicotine dose.i am already wanting to back the nic level off a little. I get a huge nicbuzz after about4 to 5 decent hits. I've compensated by taking lighter hits and cutting my volts back abit..but all in all I'm really enjoying the taste and love the new found freedom.

Welcome to ECF, drmrgal! It takes a while to find your way around ECF, but there are lots of helpful people to show you around. Congrats on giving up the analogs. I'm only on my 11th day smoke free, but I already feel a lot better, and I certainly smell better (at least I hope so!).

Good luck!

Do you long haul or local? Nic rushes, yeah we started on 12 with a few 18's but now are on 6 and 12's. I'm 23 days and my wife is 7 days analog free. We started vaping at Christmas thanks to our sons and wives. We love it. If you long haul you should be able to take advantage of the area's you go for B & M's providing you have time, I kno how it can be on the road. Welcome, Enjoy, and Vape On.

Hi Christy and welcome to ECF. Congrats on being analog free for a week. That is a HUGE accomplishment so I hope you find some way to reward yourself for it (though better health is its own reward). Sounds like you are on a great vaping path with gear and juices that are working for you.

I hope you find the folks here to be as friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and non-judgmental as I have found them to be. And I, for one, like anyone who can keep a beat (but I'm prejudiced because I do hand perscussion and backup vocals with an occasional set of ....os or a djembe thrown in for fun).

Thanks for sharing your experience because it can be useful to other folks and we are all in this thing together. What I can't do by myself, we can do together.

Keep the vape and namaste.
