I've been told by my friend that turned me on to this to join ECF, so here I am. I smoked for 20+ years and am happy that I can breathe again. It's amazing how much better I can smell....

Congratulations Christ.......I still can't believe I have been smoke free as long has I have been. Its all due to ecigs . My blood pressure is down, raynauds under control, I can smell again.....its been fantastic ! 40+ years in the chains of smoking....now freedom!

Sense of smell is...well a two edged sword....sometimes is great that I can smell again...other times, not so much.
Well done and congratulations on your smoke free. You may want to buy your friend a drink for his introduction to ECF

Agreed, I can smell cigarettes way more now. It's not that I mind it, just with some, it smells horrible.
I'm joining the welcoming committee. Glad you found and joined ECF. And it's great that you've been analog free for more than a month. That is a huge milestone to celebrate.
And are you ever right about smelling cigarettes from a mile away and they smell nasty. I shudder to think I was causing that smell just over 4 months ago. I am so grateful for vaping and grateful to have found the ECF community.

Congrats and welcome. This is a friendly and a non-smarmy place. Smell is a two edged sword. I moved into a new apartment and can tell there used to be smokers here. It is very subtle because of the new paint and carpet, but the faintness is there. Gosh, I can't believe how offensive I used to smell. Keep it up!
