I've been using my new eGo for two days now. I can't really tell a difference in the vapour with the cone and without the cone. It seems about the same to me.

The one thing I DO like about the cone is when I get a slight leak between the cartridge and the atomizer, it is behind the cone and doesn't get on my fingers.

thanks for the feedback.the main thing I have been looking for is more batt life so I'm ok if its the same as my 510 as far as TH goes.As for the leak problem,i had been getting annoyed with pulling it out of my shirt pocket and having to wipe juice off my hands all the time so i took the body of an old lighted magnifying glass and had a machinist @ work turn me down a little cap for it now its dry and i am happy.Hoping the ego will fit in the case as well,do you know the diameter of the ego?

I have an eGo and have mixed feelings about the shroud. It looks slick but it definitely tightens the draw and this is not entirely welcome with cartomizers, which seem to be an RCH larger in diameter. In particular by the time a carto has been refilled a few times the paper seems to expand and this tighens the draw too much.

When I use it without the shroud I get a nice hot sizzling vape that I can take a whatever pace I want. With the shroud, it can be too slow and I feel like I'm struggling to get enough airflow. I am considering drilling air holes in it to lighten the draw. Or just to hell with the shroud and consider it a big battery.

Well I got my ego yesterday and i am impressed, the long batt life is actually quite amazing.I used it for 12 hr yesterday got up this am and its still going!I hvent noticed any real diff in vape production or TH,but i cant believe how long this thing is lasting!!:thumbs:When i first took it out I felt silly for not just ordering the cone,so i ordered it right away...wow i'm a dummy could've avoided the $5 shipping charge if i had gotten it when i ordered the batt....oh well having too much fun with my new toy to really be bothered :banana:so thanks everyone for the great encouragement and advice.:toast:

I've tried it both with and without the cone and have to respectfully disagree. But the world's all about choice. Fortunately we've got lots of cool gadgets and mods to choose from.
