Hi all~
Sarted vaping just over a month ago~
Started off with a Ego twist type battery + a CE5 clearo, with some Chinese juices.
Have since moved on to a Vamo V5 and an SVD with a Russian and 2 kayfun minis.
I don’t move the VV mods around, the Vamo stays in the Office and the SVD at home, however, I carry the RBAs between office <> home depending on the juices I have in them.
For outdoor use, I still carry my beginner’s set-up of twister + clearo.
The Chinese juices I tried are from Hangseng, Dekang and Liqua. More leaning towards the Dekang juices which are more like the Chinese cigarettes I used to smoke and liked. Foreign made brands are not readily available in China, except perhaps Halo which I find a tad over-perfumed for my beginner’s taste buds.

Still haven’t decided on the logistics aspect, what to carry on me and how, in order to match the mobility and convenience I had with cigarettes. Weight, size and taste are the 3 considerations which complicate this.

this forum has been and is still is a reservoir of great info!

I guess that should do it for a first 1/5 beginner’s post :)

thanks for the greetings :)
Valooper, you would think that for a country that invented the e-cig (so I read) or at least started bringing the technology out to the public, it would be fairly developed with regards to shops with accessories you would visualize or handle before deciding on your purchase, or have experienced shop owners to guide you etc...
Nope~ nothing but on-line access to products and information.
As to the Chinese brands as they are known abroad, most are only used outside of China, and there is no way to find their Chinese language equivalent.
I was lucky for the Vamo and the SVD, they are the few exceptions to the rule.
I guess it is a marketing thingy, the Chinese manufacturers would not like people abroad to become aware of the prices of products marketed in China, so they blur all reference to them. Some of the better Chinese products are exclusively marketed abroad (Sigelei).

I use G case for me tube mods for mobile transport, mod fits into a nice nylon sleeve which clips to a belt loop, can have one on either side and one in me hand to vape :D

When shopping for new apparel, I now look for jackets, vests and coats with handy inside pockets, designed to carry glasses or cells, many are great for slipping box mods into. Can also find holsters for many box mods, some cell phone and camera carriers will work also.

Lanyards for egos and such are plenty to be found most anywhere that carries vape products.

I like packing 2 or 3 mods wherever I go, just so that I never run out of juice or batts and don't have to carry extra supplies. But then have a large selection to choose from.

tks for sharing, dice~ your approach will come in handy during the winter~
Most of the last month was spent on trying things out.. analysing.. researching... troubleshooting...vaping...
I would need to sit down and think of how portable I would want to get, the stuff I would really like to take along with me etc...
there are no vaping shops to go to and sort out the available gear, will need a dose of imagination (pencil case, glasses pouch, contact glasses box etc.)

in the head post I guess I should have added that I was a heavy smoker of 30 yrs, and how the switch to vaping was.... simple? dead simple?
more on that:
I did not make a resolution or any grand decision on quitting smoking~ it just happened. In a week I went down to 2 cigs a day, most of the time lighting up by habit more than desire. Granted, places I can vape are more than those I could smoke in, I have more freedom to vape to my heart's desire, one would think I would vape more thant I smoked? it isn't happening. "must have a cigarette" situations like after a meal, going outdoor, starting a drive etc... have disappeared without the slightest of efforts, or the need to replace by a vape. Can't really say that I "switched" habits, smoking habit becoming vaping habit. The smoking habit is gone, vaping is more like a treat than a habit.
