Hey I just got my Vamo 3 from fasttech yesterday. Ordered on the 12th and arrived on the 23rd of September. I am still waiting for the package I ordered from fasttech to clear customs and am surprised it hasn't since there were no batteries or juice in the order... But what the heck.. At least I now have a backup to the SVD. If it weren't for the RMS Voltage, and the money I paid, I would have to say this was a bad purchase... Instead I am happy I have solid backup.
BTW the problems I have are the 510 center post not allowing even an OLD CE5 tank to sit flush on the 510 without some force which resulted in recessing the center pin the the Vamo. I don't know if that will cause any issues down the road but there it is. And I knew there was no floating center pin like on the SVD, but it should at least accept what are essentially "standard" in the community... I did this because I figured out how recessed I had to make my center pin on my RDA to make it flush and doing that made the RDA unreadable on the SVD so I wanted to see what it would take to make a "standard" topper work. Once that was done the pin was recessed and all my toppers (RDA, RBA,CE5, and iClear30) sat flush with the 510 post. It still leaves a gap so that the toper isn't flush with the beauty ring. Not the biggest issue since this is my backup, but there it is.
