So heres the deal, finally a company that lives up to the hype!!!!!!!!! I am not a menthol smoker but Truepure is awesome. Absolutely no mouthwash taste. Did I say I love it. And Freedom is just as good.

Freedom - This is VERY hard to review right now. I'm not getting LOTS of flavor with this juice, but the TH is unbelievable and thats with 12mg nic..its actually made me cough like cigs used to. This stuff actually REMINDS me of cigarettes somehow but I dont know WHY. Luckily it doesn't taste of ash and burned things.
There IS a taste to it - but I have NO idea what it is..all I know is I dont hate it, might even really like it seeing as I've had it in my atty most of the evening. (I really needed a break from TVs mint choc chip, which i was vaping to give me a break from DIYFlavorshacks caramel RY4 lol - self restraint, I dont have it..those 2 are way too nice and I go overboard on them)
I'm a big flavor fan - HUGE - Ill go for flavor over TH or vapor every time but theres definitely something about this Halo stuff thats got my tastebuds interested. I just wish I knew what it was...

Btw - not getting any cedar taste from this which others have said they've got - which is a big plus.

Don't feel bad Capt I feel the same way and I bought 3 flavors (Freedom, Smooth 8 and Torque)

I love them ALL but ask me why I love them and I don't know what to tell ya.

I don't get the Cedar from the Freedom either.

Quality juice, just can't quite get a full handle on the flavor yet for some reason. I know I am going to vape every last bit of it (torque, newpure, and freedom), but I feel like I am going to have to sit with them a few days to develop a clear opinion. I expected instant love, but I am left with intrigue and curiosity.

Does anyone have the sense that these juices may still need to sit a few days to mature and balance out?

the "torque" and "freedom" taste VERY similar IMO, the "freedom" might be a bit sweeter, i like the Torque quite a bit, but it still tastes slightly like propane to me lol

propane? hmm.. you're the first I've heard that said that. Maybe that's their secret ingredient to increase throat hit. lol!

I love Halo. It's my favorite juice, hands down. Specifically Freedom and Smooth 8. This batch is a bit different, it seems. The Freedom is stronger and the Smooth 8 is lacking the spice that it had. And I had an old bottle to compare it to. And it's not that it needs to sit. It born on date is over 10 days ago, now. I've had people PM me saying the same thing.

I'm not complaining, I'm just making an observation. I prefer the Freedom how it is now, but I prefer the Smooth 8 with more spice, like it was.

Just got Freedom, and Bella Valencia from the fresh new batch. Smelled the liquid and thought it stunk.

1st Vape impression - Freedom - good tobac taste but too dry/flat - kinda didn't like. Hoping for something a little sweeter. Tried it again a day later and was better. Now I like it!

1st vape - Bella Valencia - didn't like it at all. Tried again today and better, but marginal. Was hoping for more vanilla. Perhaps it does take time . . .

PS: same praise on the vids, Grimm. Shoulda taken your initial advice on the DSE-905! In my junk pile now...

Still waiting on my freedom.I've tried the cool menthol it was good but I didn't detect alot of menthol and like everyone else the th was awesome.Should have my bottle tomorrow.May have to swing home for lunch just to check the mail lol

ya i just got my order from halo and all i have to say is WOW!!! menthol ice is where its at. I will get a lot of juice from them. Oh and shipping was 3 days!!! love halo!!!

lol , yeah it's doesn't taste like propane really, it just has a propane-y smell to me, i can smell it in the exhaled vapor.

I don't know what it is with this Halo juice! Never tried it before and decided to go with Freedom. When I first tried it, I said it wasn't quite what I expected and wasn't sure if I liked it. By the end of the day, I couldn't get enough of it! On one hand it tastes like nothing I've ever had before and on the other hand, it reminds me of something that's just beyond my grasp. A pipe tobacco, maybe? Some smell from childhood? I just don't know, but I find myself practically addicted to it now! Great throat hit like CaptJay said, it makes me cough like analogs do! I only have a Tornado and a KR-808 to make comparisons and it tastes better on the Tornado, as most juices do.

hmmmm.... just got my torque in the mail.


kinda sucks. I'll give it a little while until I make my official review...but it has a chemical aftertaste that while it doesn't taste like propane, it is equally as gross.

This stuff smells terrific, but the taste is just gross. I'm trying it on a low resistance atty and maybe that is the problem.

Like I said, I'm gonna give this stuff a fair shot.... but don't be surprised if a 30 ml bottle of Torque 56 ends up being available for trade.

I guess Alien Visions just set the bar too high for me.

I received my Freedom, Torque, and Trupure on Saturday (two days ago) and I have to admit I was initially somewhat disappointed, but I had heard enough about this stuff to know that it certainly warranted time for consideration. Initially, i just tasted some strange chemical flavor that I REALLY hoped would settle and disappear somehow.

Well, either it settled or my tastebuds have adapted. Honestly, I really think it must have settled because it was very pronounced and unpleasant. Now, both the Freedom and the Torque are absolutely phenomenal. Each is easily a new favorite. They absolutely provide what I have been missing and searching for in a juice. Don't get me wrong, I still love all of my other juices, but this stuff provides what I need in a daily craving kind of vape. I don't know how else to describe it. It is what I hoped it would be and it lives up to the hipe for me fully as of now. I think that it may still improve even more, but only time will tell.

I hope that some who were initially disappointed have this experience as well. Of course some will simply not take to it, but I would advise giving it some time.

I cant really say yet about the Trupure because I have been busy with the Torque and Freedom. I need to revisit the Trupure and see if it has settled or matured.

I should also mention that I have been shaking the hell out of this stuff and that may have helped, but who knows?
