I love it. Now my signature banner is not entirely accurate and within those 100 days I've smoked maybe 5-10 analogs, so there are times where maybe I left my E-cig at home, or forgot to charge it, and used an analog as a filler.

Where I was: When I was 15 I was busted with (insert mind-altering substance here) by my parents and I came home from school to find my TV, computer, etc etc all missing. I freaked out and got one of my 18 year old friends to get me a pack of Marl reds, which I chain smoked. The rest is history.

I went from Marl Reds to Camel wides, to Pall mall, to RYO. Over the last year RYO has been a royal pain. Went through two tubers and wasted more tubes than I got successful cigs, and it wasn't cheap, at least not as cheap as it used to be.

How I got here: A good friend of mine started smoking a couple years after I did, and smoked Marl Reds like they were going out of style. He posted on Facebook that he got a blu and had been cig free for 2 weeks. Now my logic is that, if someone who smoked Marl reds could get enough nicotine and smoke out of an e-cig, than I could too. The stuff came in flavors and colors and I really do love gadgets, so I shopped around all of the "major brands" (blu, volcano, greencig, etc) and settled on blu because of the warranty, price (which wasn't bad) and the fact that it was a 2-piece cartomizer cig, and not a 3-piece atty/cart.

Ordered the blu, it took just over a week to arrive, and several hours to charge the pcc and both batteries. So I got it charged, and tried it out. The flavor was the "classic tobacco" It wasn't the same, it was sweet and a little fruity in the taste, but nothing I couldn't get used to.

What I didn't like was that The battery lasted about a half hour and needed to be recharged. I know I was vaping a lot because I both enjoyed it, and wasn't getting the cig feel I needed. The fact that there were times when both batteries were charging was responsible for at least 3-5 of those 5-10 smokes I've smoked since switching.

One of the blu batteries crapped out, and the PCC crapped out, so when I sent them in for warranty repair I got an eGo passthrough to use while they were out. That settled it. The eGo kicked @S$ and I was very very happy with that. I was half tempted to send the blu back and get my money, but I kept it in the event that I wanted it. It's not a bad PV if you use it properly and it's worth hanging on to.

Where I am now: I've bought another eGo PT, a 900mAh ego battery, at least 20 kinds of juice, sample or otherwise. I've got favorite flavors, favorite suppliers, and the list goes on.

What I use, for anyone who wants to know:

PV: All eGo
Tobacco Flavors: FSUSA - Wyatt Earp 18mg, Camtel 18mg, American Spirit 18mg, Dekang - Sam Mint (menthol) 11mg
Non-Tobacco Flavors: VaporBomb - Pacific Island Punch, Buttery nipple, wintergreen (not a true wintergreen, similar but different) Bavarian Cream. MadVapes - Wintergreen, Nutty caramel. FSUSA - Pink Lemonade. Gourmet Vapor - Orange julius. Dekang - Watermelon w extra lorann watermelon flavor.
Attys: Bauway LR 510, joye regular 510.
Cartos: Ce2 (r5) stainless 2.8ohm
Misc: Totally Wicked Laser pointer and LED accessories; ECigskinmods.com carto skins; Cherryvape Pawn drip tips.

I'm also confident enough to drop $150+ on a GLV-2 5v sometime before June 15th, and maybe sometime in the not too distant future a 3.7v bottom feeder.

Noone should doubt that E-cigs have a ton of potential. It's a new toy, it's a great way to get your nicotine, and it helps us former smokers get the one thing that no other "quit" method gives us. The ability to blow "Smoke!!!"

Keep informing smokers you know about this stuff, make sure they get the right thing at the right price, and let's see if we can keep the bandwagon rolling. If everyone in just my generation (23-28) who smokes were to switch, it would be huge. Both in terms of a blow towards big tobacco and in terms of cleaner air and healthier living.

Keep it real folks! Have a great week.

Edit: I didn't realize I was closer to 400 posts than 500. Sorry about that.

Congrats on the successful switch!
Wish I was as smart as you when I was that age,
(and there were such a thing as e-cigs back in the dark-ages:) )

Be careful
"GLV-2 5v sometime before June 15th, and maybe sometime in the not too distant future a 3.7v bottom feeder"
once you start down the mod path you can never come back from the dark side!! ROTFLOL

Yeah thanks AG. As much as I like the concept of feeder mods, I found recently that I actually enjoy having 3 different cartos in my pocket, and dripping. Feeder mod will be up after the 5v GLV but not high on the list of priorities.

Thanks guys! I'm so proud, lol. Without the ecigs I wouldn't even be able to go a day without a smoke, let alone 100.
