You mean using it as a wicking material? I would be very interested in this too. It's my understanding that most wick materials are made out of silica? I have also heard of using wool, but not tried it yet.

I'm rather new to the e-cigarette world, but learning fast and looking to make it as natural as possible. Mostly out of habit and for sport rather than health. =D

So, right. Hemp fiber wicking material. anyone?

It appears it is not twisted too tight. It may be a good wicking material and I havent yet read anything about it. Give it a try, and let us know how it goes. You might be on to something here. I use 100% cotton butcher sting. got it cheap off of ebay.

It's got me curious because of how loose it looks. Most of what I have read on problems with hemp had to do with wicking or flavor. It seems like this sliver of hemp might eliminate some of those issues.
