DO IT NOW!!!! It makes a WORLD of difference. I was an avid organic cotton user for my entire vaping career but then I came across the Rayon thread that took over that section of the forums. Thought it was worth a try. Ordered 2oz of TENCEL from Halcyon for only like 8 bucks.
First let me tell you 2oz of TENCEL will last you your entire life and then you can pass it onto your kids when you die lol.
Second: There is no wick flavor AT ALL! Unless of course you are dry hitting it and why you would be doing that anyway is beyond me. There isn't even a break period!Even then it's not as nasty as cotton more just like burning paper. I guess after saying that I should recommend that people have somewhat of a good knowledge of wicking and how it works as a system. The TENCEL isn't puffy like cotton it more like very very very fine strands of hair. It didn't come woven or twisted or anything just a long super thick strand of millions of straight smooth fibers. So wicking it on a smaller coil could take you a little bit since twisting it into a point to slide through the coil was tough for me.
Third: THIS STUFF WICKS LIKE MAD!!!! It will pull juice into the sky. Literally. I wicked my juice up one whole inch on a piece I hung vertically to test. Cotton doesn't even come close to that. This was a godsend for my magma RDA. It has a super deep well and I always found when using cotton most of my juice will sit in the bottom and degrade over time. Not with TENCEL. It sucks it up like crazy. I should also mention that it RETAINS or HOLDS the juice better. No more loose juice dripping out of your RDA TENCEL holds it right in place and doesn't let it go!
4th: The flavor.... omfg the flavor...... I've gone back to juices I've left behind. The flavor from this wick is amazing. 100x better than cotton. I get more undertones, more nuances, better throat hit. It's just all around delectable. I'm discovering new tastes in juices Ive been vaping on for months.
This stuff is like the Rolls Royce of wicks.
I cannot recommend this stuff highly enough!
