Just a quick post to say hello and attempt to get my 5 newbie posts done. My SmokeTip starter kit came today and I have til 10 pm to wait for it to fully charge. It's so hard to wait to try it out for the first time.
I read all the lit but I can't find info on whether it will blink or something to let me know its done charging. There's a big difference between 9 pm and 10 pm when you're waiting!! Anyway, glad to be here, lots of support, wonderful.

Wall charger has a green light that is lit. USB is plugged into the wall charger and has a blue light that is lit. It did not flash. USB has another light on the top which is not lit. When I first plugged the whole thing into the wall, the led tip on the battery blinked 3 times indicating it will take the charge. Exactly as it should be. Wow! Third post! Hehe

Hi. Well, it says initial charge is 6 to 8 hours. Certainly want to start right. Can't afford this thing to not work properly....
Forget all about that, it's dead wrong.
When it's charged fully, it's charged fully, seriously.

Most of the batteries I have ordered have either been charged or close to full charge. Is it better to drain them first then charging?
Draining them or not, it doesn't matter.
Check the thread posted above about batteries.

There are no such worries with these kinds of batteries.
It is leftover information from NiCd batteries which does NOT apply to these batteries.

And make sure you guys all sign the petition linked in my signature!!
Well, make sure to sign if you want electronic cigarettes to remain available anyway.
