That depends greatly upon the manufacturer and the specific flavor.

Conventional wisdom has it that PG is the flavor carrier and VG is the vapor maker. However, I have not found that to be true in every case.

I once ordered my favorite flavor in a 50/50 PG/VG mix, and also in a 100% VG mix to compare. Both tasted exactly the same TO ME, with the one with 100% VG producing more vapor than the 50/50 mix.

One thing to consider is what juice delivery attachment you are using. Some of the earlier model clearomizers were not able to adequately wick thicker eliquids (higher VG) and therefore were more likely to cause dry hits if you were a heavy vaper. Today's more current clearomizers have larger and better designed coil heads/wicks, so its not so much of an issue.

Personally I like the max VG's, PG just dosen't sit well with me. I know I get lots of flavor from the VG only blends but it is tough to compare to the 50/50's as I just find their vape to be too much of a throat/lung hit causing me to cough. I don't think you will find much difference in taste though between 100 and an 80/20 blend. I find that by adjusting the power setting I can turn it down for a more wet and flavorful vape vs higher for a dryer less flavorful vape. Some juices taste better one way some the other, some right about the middle, its all to your personal preference.
