Hey all,
I have tried Bill's 100DT method of testing juices before, but I found it easier to do 10ml batches since I mix by weight. Recently I started pre-mixing my base at 61/39 VG/PG 3.66mg nic, and add 18% flavors/pg to make it come out to 50/50 3mg.
So I wanted to try out a mix, and decided to weigh my 82 drops of base. It is coming out around 2.49 grams, so now I just put in 2.49 grams of base and then add my 18 drops of flavor/pg. I think it worked well, I found a mix I liked and made a 30 ml batch of it, they taste the same so it seems like it is all good.
Somebody may have suggested this before and it was before my time or I missed it. Are there any other "duh!" suggestions like this out there for testing?
Though I normally use RTAs, I do use RDAs (Velocity or Tugboat clones) for testing, because they are easier to re-coil/re-wick/clean out if things come out terribly.
