Easy dilution method. Is this okay?

Okay, I know there are alot of different opinions on here about the right and wrong way for mixing liquids. Here is the method that I use and was looking for some feedback from the forum pros.

I vape 24 mg, so this is pretty easy to do by % ( for ease in the math dept I have been vaping 25 mg)
I start with 100mg nicotine in pg, drop it 50/50 with vg. This is how I store it. For some reason in my mind it is safer to have 50mg nic laying around than 100. I buy 250 ml 100 mg nic, and 250 ml bottles of vg, so its perfect to just pour the whole bottle of each in a 500 ml glass bottle(wiz lab sends everything in plastic)

That gives me 50 mg in a 50/50 blend of vg/pg that I count as my base.
Then for my typical 75/25 blend my flavors are mixed with pg.
Then mixing in 10 ml bottles this is so easy, I just do 50 % base and 50% flavored pg, comes out to 25 mg at 75/25 vg.

I know this isnt going to work for everyone, and most diy people arent comfortable working with 100mg base. But for me it works great, I found it to be a pain in the tail breaking out the 100 mg nic vg and pg everytime I wanted to try a new flavor. 2 bottles is quicker to work with than 3.... I have been doing some experimenting more with less nic and more vg, and as I have a rba now, I dont really mind using 100vg to sample my flavors without nic.
Okay there it is, rip me a new one for my method:) but it works for me.
And new found discovery, Koolada should not be used at the same level as menthol:ohmy: LOL

I do almost the same. But I break down the 100mg./10% Nicotine even further because I use 50/50 in all my mixes. So I just add the PG/VG/Nic Liquid total to a bottle of appropriate size and then add the flavorings. I too use the Wizard bottle pouring equal amount of PG/VG into a 500ml bottle. Then I take my Nicotine liquid and combine all three to get 50/50 E-juice at 12mg. nicotine level. Makes mixing a lot easier and your right, no 100mg nic laying around.

Koolada 1 drp. per 5mls is usually enough.

Doing an initial cut of the 100 makes sense to me, because it is then simpler to work with if you are trying out new blends. Get the cut to 50 mg/ml right (mix the proper amounts together, shake well, and shake that resulting bottle each time you make something with it), then you are using 2x as many ml of the cut nic base as you would have the original. Measuring errors are more readily accommodated in the subsequent blending.

For long term storage I'd stay with the initial mg, but for my working nic base bottle I'd cut it as soon as I open a bottle of the higher strength.

Yeah, I mixed up a 10 mil bottle with koolada, 1 mil of it.....Couldn't talk for the rest of the day, almost felt like a burnt carto. My thoughts on it were that it was menthol without the mint, mix like menthol. wrong! LOL. It was also the first time that I had used a menthol that was stronger than 10% not knowing it was so strong...bad day for vaping...had to build a new wick and coil after the 2 of those went though it. Was so disgusted at the flavor I just threw the whole atty in alcohol then rebuild it haha.

Is it a bad idea to do long term storage after cutting it? I have around 400 mils premixed at 50mg that I am assuming is going to last a long time.....I have a few friends I supply and me. So I am guessing around a 6 month or better supply.

I store it at 100mg due to limited space in my freezer.

I just aquired this stash .. but my plan is to make a few months worth of cut base at a time. I usually cut to 20mg so that after I add flavors and water, etc, it's closer to 18 . .and, of course, I could still cut it further if I decided to lower my nic strength.

For 6 months, no problem at all, just shake the bottle each time you use it to minimize separation, any "hot spots". Storing the higher strength as-is is only if you want to put it in the freezer, like Bosco mentioned, to minimize the space required.

I typically have a 6 - 9 month supply of nic on hand, just keep it in my basement, which is cool and dark, has a dehumidifier. I reorder when I get down to 3 months.

Yeah, with all the potential FDA crap getting ready to happen I was debating on ordering around 2 years worth of Base, heck its cheap enough from wizard labs or rts vapes to get 1000 mls of it, actually thinking of possibly vac sealing it and seeing how long it would hold. I know 2 years is supposed to be the max though. The only thing that would scare me about LONG LONG time storage is chemical break down. Are there any known facts about what the stuff will do over 2 years, obviously over that long of a time it will separate. Don't think it would break down a glass container, and it wouldnt evaporate, but chemical compounds can and do change over time.
