I apologize in advance for a newb question that the vets have probably answered many times.

The GLV3 feeder takes a 10ml bottle, no? I have to acquire a few. Where can I get a few?

Todays my first day with my GLV3 annnnnnd.......I have no bots that size. :)

Also, the 3/4" long piece of wider diameter tube is what goes on the tip of the 10ml bottle and the smaller diameter redish tubing pushes inside that, I believe. Does the redish tubing have to go in the wider tube a certain amount or is 1/8" enough? Trying to take inventory of what I received to see if I have it all. I scoopes it up on the classifieds.

Thanks, all.

The original concept did incorporate 10ml bottles but no matter where you get them, they're hard plastic, more difficult to squeeze, and tend to "crinkle" and leave unsightly stress patterns.

The softer more pliable plastic used in 6ml (and 3ml bottles) is easier to squeeze and don't show wear so Jay went with 6ml for ease of use and aesthetics.

As I recall, Jay explains this in one of his GLV-3 videos.

If everything is properly connected and there are no leaks, I think 6ml is enough to get most of us through an entire day and into the next.

I don't have a black dripper top on my 6ml bottle....it didn't come with one, so I was thinling I have to use the provided 1"long piece of larger ID hose to put over the tip of the dropper top of the bottle and then the longer red hose goes inside the fatter blue hose.

I traded an ecf member for this so I don't know if all the original components are here....

Looks like you're a lowe's kind of guy. The fitting that goes into the top of the bottle (the tip is cut off the bottle) looks like a connector for a garden drip irrigation system......then the hose connects to that.

My cell bat is dead or I would show you pics. I can do pics later if you want let me know.

I hope you get it up and working......

Is there supposed to be an o-ring on the special top feed drip tip? I would guess so, but I don't have one on my drip tip.

My current shopping list:

O-ring for drip tip (if it should be there)
Black bottle tip/adapter
Squishy 10ml bottles (if they indeed exist)

Maybe I should get a hold of Jay and ask if I can buy these things from him. I did leave him a VM 2 nights ago.

I absolutely LOVE this mod. Its big and heavy and in-your-face and I feel like a titan while holding it. I just really need to get the feeders working.

I tried the 10 ml bottles and not only were they difficult to squeeze but they looked ugly after about a weeks worth of use. I would stick with the 6ml bottles if I were you just my humble opinion.

I am sure Jay will have the parts you need. You know, now that I'm looking at the drip tip, it did not come with an o ring.....I'm sure I have other rings from other drip tips if I ever decide to go that way.

Good luck with getting it all pieced together. Again, I would call Jay/Sara and let them know what you need. I am sure they will send it out immediately.

Did you get the little orange ball and set screw for the bottom end of the atty connector (this is for using it without the feeder)? Just wanted to make sure you have these before you call GLV for parts so you have all the parts you may need.

Thanks alot for helping see me through my little issues....

Yeah, I got the ball and set screw. I understand its use also. I took an o-ring from another 510 drip tip and put it on my special top feed tip and as expected.....its perfect.

I plan to speak with Jay tomorrow for the rest of the parts.

Thanks again to everyone. I'm eager to get it working perfectly.
