My juice has made it to California! It's roughly an hour away from me, and I'm sure it will remain there overnight. But, it's almost here!
I haven't seen any mention of L7's Banana Nut Bread so I will give a short rundown of my mixed experience.
Straight outta the mail, I filled up my only empty tank, an evod running a fresh 2.6 32awg microcoil/cotton.
At low voltage it had a light natural banana flavor, but not much bread flavor...so I turned it up...
As the voltage went up, the sweet bread flavor increased.
However, at the same time , the banana flavor takes on more of a candy flavor(not good imo, can't stand banana candies) .
The nutty flavors also are more noticeable at higher watts, which I found odd becouse as soon as I opened the bubble wrap my living room was filled with banana NUT bread goodness. i kinda figured that the very nutty aroma would mean a very nutty flavor, although I'm glad it didn't turn out that way.
So, after tasting the candy banana flavor, sadly, I had to put it down, yes, I dislike it THAT much.
So, the bottle sat for a couple weeks, I forgot about it even.
Found it yesterday, while figuring out what to put into my freshly built Nimbus(28awg 1.2ohm Micro/cotton).
Loaded up the Nimby, set it to 15watts....$h!t just got REAL!
Light Natural banana, just sweet enough bread-muffin flavor, a bit of nuttiness, I mean come on! It even tastes "moist" , cuz who wants dry banana bread amiright?
You know how the top of banana bread has that sorta almost carmalized crusty goodness....well, that's there too! I tried a lot of wattages with this one, and the flavors meld differently at various watts
L7V: You guys hit this one out the park with me, bravo!
If you've tried this one, and didn't like it, give it 2 weeks in the back of the box, then try it again.
