So im thinking it would be neat to make a 510 passthrough that connects to the cig lighter in my car using the 12v power of the car battery. Would this be possible using a high voltage atomizer? Or is 12v too much for an atomizer to take? Just an idea.

12v would be way too much, even for an HV atomizer. I know there is a thread on here somewhere where a guy actually used the cigarette lighter AS the atomizer. Myself I would just use a cigarette lighter adapter for a normal usb passthrough.

my pt is a madvapes 5v 510. and for some reason im getting better hits on my 3.7v mod. The wall to usb adapter is rated at AC 120v .15A and DC 5v .5A. pretty sure thats my problem. can i get 2amp adapters locally or do i have to get them at ecig suppliers?
Look around, I have found them for things like the Ipad but they seem to be a lot less expensive online. Plus stay away from smart chargers that will prevent over charging and such as they also will not work right. For our use the cheapies are the best because we don't want that fancy protection to kill our vape=]
