Trying to figure by the mAh rating can be a bit difficult. Although some cells like the Panasonic 2900mAh sounds great, much of those mAhs will be of no use to us as it's at a voltage that's too low for decent vaping.
Take a look at this 18650 battery load test.
The dots are on the 2A drain trace, which is about the equivalent of a 2Ω atty.
The RED dot is at 3.4V and the YELLOW at 3.3V. Pick ur poison.
The often overlooked Tenergy2600 is the leader at both and is also the least expensive of the group.
Note the expensive AW2900 is in fact a Panasonic 2900 with a protection circuit added and re-wrapped by AW.
Folks also like to compare a 14500's 900mAh to let say an eGo.
Here is a UltraFire 900mAh 14500 tested at a very modest 0.8A drain, and note the cut-off is at a too low to vape 3V.
Capacity: 592mAh.
Food for thought.
