Who is good at mathmatics?? if this forum has 16,000 members .....how much money do you think tobacco companies and the governments are now loosing per week? My favourite thing about vaping is that I am no longer paying my government unfair extra taxes for doing something I want to do.

Nice thought but is almost impossible to tell. Too many variables that aren't constant, like how many packs per day, tax rate in each city, tax rate in each state, tax rate in each country, etc......

The federal government tax per pack of cigarettes is $1.01. Add to this the state tax, which in Utah is $0.69 per pack. Cigarettes cost about $4.50 per pack in Utah.

Taxes are very high in New York City: $2.75 for the New York state tax + $1.50 New York City tax + $1.01 federal tax... total: $5.26 tax per pack, price for one pack about $9.00! No wonder so many un-taxed cigarettes are being smuggled into that place...

In Washington State our taxes per pack are: Federal 1.01, State Tobacco $2.02, Sales Tax about .10 depending on locatioin - Grand Total $3.13 PER PACK. Cost of a legal pack ranges from $5.00 to over $7.00 in my experience.
The state has also made a deal with almost all the Indian tribes so that the tribal smoke shops also collect the state taxes (but don't give it to the state, the tribe keeps it) and have begun cracking down on people who buy out of state (legally we are required to pay "use tax" equal to the cigarette tax if we buy off the internet, etc). They have also increased the penalties for possession of an untaxed pack.
Washington State IS addicted to cigarettes!

You also have to consider that a lot of people here are probably just looking for information. You can't reasonably think that all 16,000 people on this forum have quit smoking because of e-cigs. It's just not feasible.

It's not that they all quit, but I'm sure they don't smoke as much. And for the handfull that are here just for info, they are just a handfull.
