I got my Nemesis in the mail yesterday and I am going to get batteries for it today, but I am wondering what kind of battery life you guys get on average off an 18350 @ 700-800 mah. I'm running between 0.8-1.0 ohm on my Russian, and since the Russian is so big, I want to use the Nemesis as small as possible with it, but obviously get the best battery life.

From the Guru of all things battery Baditude:

You can't go wrong with AW IMR batteries. The Panasonic & Orbtronic hybrids are also a good choice, although the 3400 mAh Panny should only be used for mechanical mods with only clearomizers or cartomizers due to its 6.8 amp limit.

AW IMR
18650 2000mah 10Amp CDR
18650 1600mah 24A

MNKE IMR
18650 1500mah 20A

Panasonic or Orbtronic hybrid
CGR18650CH (IMR/hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
NCR18650PD (LiNiCoAl) 2900mAh 10A
Orbtronic 18650 SX22 (hybrid) 2000mAh 22A

Samsung hybrid (LiNiCoMnP)
INR18650-22P 2200mAh 10A
INR18650-20R 2000mah 22A

Sony
us18650v3 IMR 2250mAh 10A
us18650vct3 (hybrid) 1600mAh 30A

Efest IMR
18650 (IMR/hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
18650 2000mAh 10A
18650 1600mAh 30A

* AW IMR 18490 (1100mah) 8.8A

*AW IMR 18350 (700mah) 6A

...So maybe I should be looking at 18500/18650?

might be a good idea...

it depends only on your usage model, preferences,

like do you want to have battery inside your mod ( a bit more heavy and always in the hands )
or an additional one in your pocket ( mod is less heavy and just to replace it when needed )

Not sure I follow. I plan on carrying an extra around, just in case, but also have one in use at all times.

FYI, this is the chart I've been using. Does it seem accurate to you guys?

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B423OSOvUSNvZmdxNE9FdjBla3c/edit

It's accurate, but limited in it's scope. The age of a battery, resistance from a dirty switch - 510 connection - battery contact, temperature of the room (cold lessens the performance of a battery a lot), and many other variables all factor into what resistance might be "safe"

You want as much headroom, extra amperage as reasonably possible. The vape time will be longer and the batteries should last longer....:)

So I guess I'm either gonna have to use a higher amp battery (larger) or start building higher resistance coils, is what you're basically saying? :)

It's better than being out and about...having both your batteries decide they no longer want to hold a good charge...nothing to vape....shakes, sweats....8-o...

Stay safe and vape on....:vapor:

I'd like to think if I'm out and about long enough, I'll remember to bring backups or an extra mod. I'm usually pretty prepared when it comes to that. But then again, carrying all that extra stuff can be a hassle sometimes.

Where did you order your Nemesis from? I think that's my next purchase!

That's what I would do. Your original target of .8 to 1.0 Ω would be stressing an 18350 from what I have been reading.
I'm still learning myself but a sub ohm and a 18350 won't leave much room for error.
