just received the 18350 and 18500 from cloud9vapor. When I put in the 18350 battery, postive side up, something is causing the battery to heat up so fast I was concerned it was ready to explode. Took it outside to cool. Happened to 2 800mah and 1 1200 mah.

No paperwork came from C9V but with the PVs but there was a washer with the 18350 and the 18500 had 3 washers and 3 orings. What is wrong with my switch or what do I do to keep the battery from being enegaged 100% of the time without pressing the switch? What do I do wit hthe extra washers and orings?

I hope this make sense and thank you for your help.

What brand of battery do you have? You mentioned 800mah and 1200mah so i am assuming trustfire/utlrafire? The PrecisePlus 18350 only accepts the AW IMR 18350 700mah. The PrecisePLus 18500 is set up for the AW Protected 18500 1500mAh. Drop them in a go. Sounds like these batteries you are using are too long perhaps. You can try adjusting it by swapping orings and washers, but i don't recommend it, switch to some quality AW batteries, they are cheap insurance, safer, fit like a glove and outlast the trustfire/ultrafires. :)
