Has anyone removed the metal divider between the battery and the 3ml bottle and tried an 18490 battery in it? It seems like a no brainer to me and everything should stay nice and snug in there.

there was a thread on this beezer, you probably can search it and find it using the search box, there was a guy doing this and it was a nice job how he did it. See if you cant find it so you can see it.

You should just wait a little bit for the metal 18490's to come out Beezer. It's only a few months away.
Honestly, it hurt me to see what happened to that mini on that thread. He did a good job but, I could never do that to a my REO's personally.

I know, right? I saw a video from a guy who did a slew of mods to his Grand that bolted a clip onto the back. A clip would be staggeringly handy, but I wouldn't be able to bring myself to drill my Grand. It's just not right.

Before you go at your mini its not a good idea .One thing most guys miss when building mods is you need enough room for bottle expansion .There is definitely not enough room in a mini for a 18490 they would be jammed tight and you end up with no room for displacement not to mention your battery is taking a beaten in the process .
I wonder if there's a way to hook a 6 volt lantern battery to a belt pack and have it direct wired to a new VV so I won't have to change out so often.
