Hi, These 18500 rechargeable li-ion Sanyo Battery 3.7V batteries were suggested by another member for the evic. Just wondering if anyone knows any more info about these batteries. Possibly more info on the performance of this type of cell. Searched the forums and didn't find any info. Maybe these might work on more mods also. seems like they would be great batteries for a 18500 cell for an ecig.

That'll work providing you have a mod for it, as the standard size battery is 18650.

Based on my usage with different batteries in the eVic, IMRs have produced the best results.

Thanks. I was wondering about the chemistry and if they were safe provided my mod has built in protection. I am finding many 18500s, but the mah of them are still low, not much better than an 18350. I am trying to carry a little more compact without suffering too much performance loss.

That ---> ... mod has built in protection.

Unprotected batteries are mostly an issue with mechanical mods. IMRs give you faster response even in regulated mods, and where 6 winds or more are done on any given RBA wick, the difference really shows. Best to compare them for yourself.
