A little bored at work so I thought I'd throw a few pictures on here of this thing. I originally bought the dna12 to go in my vmod XL, which I had working, but sucked because you could barely get the case closed... As I looked around my office I realized I had enough crap laying around to throw this together, including the ancient altoid sour chewing gum tin. The ergonomics on the thing are surprisingly good, for something I tossed together while 'working from home' one day, its pretty awesome.

That's my vmod in the background for a size reference and the tank is a smok vivi/hyper SRT.

Get a kick for a vmod, build something if you wanna use a DNA ;) No real tips, except maybe pay attention to ohms law. The DNA takes a lot of the thought out of building a mod, imo. It takes quite a few wires... but you don't have to set it, well... set it once and forget it. I didn't bother making the pot adjustable from the outside, I never mess with it. Its set and I just use it. For the price of a dna, I can't imagine bothering with anything else.

Yeah, I hear you. The DNA is cheaper than the kick. Def would take a lot more wires. So I guess it's all just personal pref. I think I'll watch the classies for a kick and just try my hand at it. I've got a few ideas for a couple mods i'd like to build. I have plenty of hand tools for fixing cars but not much in the way of making mods though lol.
