18650 Battery Life

Already posted a thread about this but for sub ohm vaping (I know I really need to invest in a multi meter). I have an ohm reader that states it can read voltage from a battery using the reversed 510 connector on the ohm reader but my 510 batts won't thread.

Anyway, I have two 1600mah 18650 batteries. How long should each last on a standard resistance atomizer. Say around 1.5-2.0 ohms when medium - heavy vaping.

And what are the real risks, if any, of draining one of these batteries all the way? Will a lack of vapor/power output be noticeable before it completely dies?

You will learn to tell the change in taste of when it's time to recharge quite quickly, but it's best to get out the volt meter until you do.

There is no set time that a charge will last, there are just to many variables, like the age of the battery, chemistry of the battery, number of hits taken/hour, resistance of the heads, and on and on.

pick up the new efest luc charger that is both. It chargers your batteries but also is a multi meter built in "sort of" because the led will show you the charge of your battery. As stated above you will learn to feel/taste when your battery starts losing its charge. It will take a lot to run a battery down past 2.8v but i guess if you never charge it you could. I run most of my coils around .8-1.2ohm and I run either sony 30am vtc or panasonic batteries. I can still get a good day+ worth of charge on one of these going through almost 4-5mils of juice per day. Hope that helps.
