That's the battery I use in my reg. mods. I can only use 350's and 490/500's in my only true mech (Sir Lancelot), as the 650 extension ring is cross threaded. However, I have a reg. mech (Armor) and a reg. mod (Cold Steel) that has a 'bypass' setting. Both these mods can use a 20/21 700 size battery, and I use p42a's in them.
An 18650 would be strongly recommended, and preferably one with an amp limit that's high enough to carry whatever load you plan to put on it,
