18650 to 26650 converter SLEEVE? Any drawbacks?

I'm considering getting an authentic Hades mod (uses a 26650), but I already invested a lot in my VTC5 (I have three of 'em) plus the cost of the mod, itself. I found a sleeve that lets a 18650 fit with a 26650 mod (basically a tube that's 4mm in thickness, made out of what looks like insulating material).

Has anyone ever tried using one? Is there any drawbacks to using one? Do they fit too tight/loose?

I just wanna see what ECF members have to say, so I can decide whether to pay $2 for the sleeve, or end up bleeding another $20 for a pair of 26650s plus a charger for 'em (26650s double-park in my i4 intellicharger, I've tried.)

As a member of the consumption society, I say buy new batteries and a new charger. Then ditch it all and get a mod with a built in battery. When that built in battery dies, you can buy a new mod and keep spending. If you have a dollar, by God, spend it.

Have not used a sleeve so I can't speak about it but I'm wondering why you would need a new charger?
I have the I4 and charge my mnke 26650 batteries with no problem.

same here i can charge 1 26650 with 3 18650s next to it all charging fine..

I have the older generation i4 (i've been vaping for like 2 years, now. This thing is still going strong), the slots are designed for 18mm batteries, while 26 mm batteries work, they take up two spots.
